Honolulu- Kristi Lee Roshia A 35 yr old woman was taken into federal custody, accused of threatening to kill first lady Michelle Obama.

Roshia told the Secret Service she will “blow away" Michelle Obama.

Roshia was arrested and charged with threatening a family member of the president and assaulting a federal agent. She was caught on Saturday less than two miles from the Kailua home where the Obama family planned to stay.

According a Secret services affidavit Roshia called the Secret Service’s Boston office last month and expressed her thoughts of killing the First Lady to a receptionist,.

"I will kill Michelle Obama" and "I will kill Marines," said Roshia.  In the same call, the documents states, she said she would "blow away" Michelle Obama.

In further testimony highlighted in the affidavit, she expressed to Secret Service in 2004 “although her mission is to assassinate the president, she has no desire to hurt him".

The document also states that Roshia said she knew where Obama would be  in Hawaii, and the reason she was in Hawaii in September was "to protect Obama."

She is also known by the Secret Service for sending pictures, poems love letters and leaving bizarre rambling messages.

Roshia was also charged with lunging at a Secret Service agent. She was being held without bail pending hearing.
